About Me

Hello! I’m Andrew. My favourite colour is orange. By coincidence, a lot of the things I work on are also orange. It’s really not intentional.

Professionally, I work in live entertainment. Usually, that means live sound like musical theatre, music, and corporate events, but I’ve also done production management, system integration, lighting, live streaming, and video work. I studied computer science at the University of St Andrews, so I like using modern technologies and computer networking to make event production easier.

I also do some web development, like at Regal Radio, the community radio station I volunteer at.

This website is my personal blog, where I post random things I’ve found interesting enough to write down. Usually, that’s some computer-related problem I’ve fixed, in the hopes someone else with the same issue can spend less time fixing it than I did.
